Artesano del Tobacco Shares Updates on Upcoming Releases

Artesano del Tobacco has provided an update on several highly anticipated projects currently in development, including new additions to the Viva La Vida and El Pulpo portfolios, as well as progress on the long-awaited OJO COROJO line.

OJO COROJO Project Targets PCA 2027 Debut
Following four years of development in collaboration with master blender AJ Fernandez, the OJO COROJO project continues to move forward steadily. According to Artesano del Tobacco, the blend has reached approximately 80% of its intended profile.

The company notes that further aging, fermentation, and refinement are still required before the cigar reaches its desired level of perfection. If development continues as planned, OJO COROJO is expected to make its official debut at PCA 2027.

Viva La Vida Connecticut Lancero Planned for Summer Release
Artesano del Tobacco and AJ Fernandez have also developed a new Viva La Vida Connecticut Lancero (7 x 40), a vitola created in response to requests from members of the company’s Club 500 community.

Production timelines are currently being finalized, with a release targeted for this summer.

El Pulpo Corona Gorda Expected This Fall
Another project nearing completion is the new El Pulpo Corona Gorda (6.5 x 48 Box-Pressed). According to Artesano del Tobacco, the cigar has surpassed internal expectations during development.

Like the Viva La Vida Connecticut Lancero, the Corona Gorda was developed following feedback and requests from Club 500 members.

If production proceeds as scheduled, Artesano del Tobacco is aiming for a fall release.
