Oettinger Davidoff Announced the Launch of Cusano Dominican Connecticut
In a press release, Oettinger Davidoff AG yesterday announced the launch of the new cigar line Cusano Dominican Connecticut. The new line will be available worldwide, starting in Europe in February 2016 and followed by the USA in April 2016.

Miami Cigar & Co. Taking Over U.S. Distribution for Toscano
Miami Cigar & Company announced that they have reached an agreement to become the exclusive distributor of Toscano Cigars in the United States. Based in Tuscany, Italy, Toscano has been producing their iconic cigars for 200 years and is to this day the most dominant cigar brand in Italy.

Villiger Cigars North America Names Rene Castaneda as New President
In this new role, Castaneda will oversee all aspects of US operations, including sales and marketing. Castaneda will work in tandem, with managing director, Michael Blumendeller who remained in the company after profound restructuring in December of 2015.

Julio & Justo Eiroa Founding Their Own Cigar Company JRE Tobacco
Christian Eiroa announced in a press statement that his father, Julio, and his brother, Justo, have entered the cigar business by founding the independent company JRE Tobacco. The new company’s portfolio will include the brands Aladino, Rancho Luna and Tatascan.

Habanos S.A. has announced the release of Hoyo de Monterrey Hermosos No. 4, the latest addition to their new Añejados line which was first launched in early 2015. The cigars are already available in Germany and will arrive in other countries during the first quarter of 2016.

La Aurora to Open Teaching Center La Aurora Cigar Institute in the Dominican Republic
La Aurora announced the opening of a teaching facility as part of their La Aurora Cigar World in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dom. Rep in February. The institution’s aim is to educate and teach about the world of cigars in a didactic manner, through a group of recognized professionals.

Davidoff Announced Event Details of their International Tour Gastronomique 2016
This year, the Davidoff Tour Gastronmique will visit the Dominican Republic, Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg and Spain. The tour will kick-off at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in the Dominican Republic with the Art & Gourmet weekend.
