Toscano T: The Cigar Co-Created With the Club Amici del Toscano

Manifatture Sigaro Toscano presents the Toscano T, the result of a two-year co-creation project launched in mid-2024 with more than 2,500 enthusiasts from the Club Amici del Toscano.

Manifatture Sigaro Toscano (MST) has presented the Toscano T in Rome, a new cigar born from a two-year co-creation journey with more than 2,500 members of the Club Amici del Toscano. The project embodies what the company calls “Toscanotudine,” the idea that Italian tobacco culture can bring together different stories and sensibilities.

The cigar’s name and identity were defined by the enthusiasts themselves: the “T” stands for Tenacity, Talent and Transformation, summarizing the values behind the product.

The process involved the entire supply chain: the growers, responsible for fire-curing the leaves; the blender, who translated the Club’s preferences into a precise recipe; the sigaraie (cigar rollers) of Lucca, who hand-roll each cigar; and the tobacconists, who bring the product to market.

Technically, the Toscano T comes in a Robusto format, with a pronounced belly and enlarged tips. The filler and wrapper are made from 100% North American Kentucky tobacco, with dark, robust wrapper leaves that undergo long fermentation and aging.

The sensory profile evolves gradually: it opens with notes of pink pepper and red fruit, develops into toast, oak and ripe fruit, and has a persistent finish of leather and hide.

“This is not simply a cigar designed for enthusiasts, but one created together with them,” said Stefano Mariotti, CEO of Manifatture Sigaro Toscano. “Toscano T shows how Toscanotudine can bring together people, stories and experiences, blending innovation and tradition in the name of Italian manufacturing quality.”

With the launch of the Toscano T, the project comes full circle, returning to the community that inspired it and reaffirming the value of Italian agro-industrial craftsmanship.

Done, and thank you.
