Platinum Nova, the family-owned boutique cigar company known for its ultra-premium, limited-edition offerings, made a memorable entrance at the 2026 PCA Convention & Trade Show in New Orleans with the debut of its newest release, the Royal Falcon.
True to the brand’s reputation for drawing on tobacco from across the cigar-growing world, the Royal Falcon brings together an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Dominican Corojo binder, and Nicaraguan filler — a combination designed to deliver a full-bodied experience that the company describes as powerful yet controlled. The intended flavor profile centers on rich herbs, dark spice, and roasted espresso, with an emphasis on both strength and aromatic complexity.
Platinum Nova typically offers each cigar in just one vitola, but the Royal Falcon marks a departure for the company — it is the first release offered in two sizes: a Robusto at 5 x 54 priced at $22 per cigar, and a Toro at 6 x 54 priced at $24. Both are packaged in 10-count boxes and produced at Platinum Nova’s own Terranova Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic.
The release reflects CEO Leonor Abzaradel’s ongoing commitment to crafting cigars built around customer feedback and a dedication to quality. Royal Falcon is scheduled to begin shipping to retailers at the end of June 2026.
