Kristoff launched their new line, Kristoff Vengeance, at this year’s IPCPR in Las Vegas. Now it hits the shelves in Europe.
“The response in the US has been insane,” owner Glen Case says. “I still can’t wrap my head around it. We did a pre-release at the Tobacconists’ Association of America’s convention in May and we sold out 150,000 cigars in about two months. We had to go back to press and print out new rings and labels.”
The Vengeance line is produced in the Dominican Republic. It has a Broadleaf Connecticut wrapper, an Indonesian binder and fillers from Estelí, Jalapa as well as a Habano from the Dominican Republic. “It’s medium to medium plus. It has rich notes of dark espresso bean, a sweet mocha flavor, a little bit of spice and a coco finish.” It comes in four sizes, Robusto, Perfecto (6 ¼ x 60), Toro and a 6 x 60.
In the US it costs USD 8.25 to 10, in Europe EUR 8.20 to 8.90.
