My Father La Gran Oferta was only available in a few stores in the US until this year’s IPCPR, when My Father introduced it to the US market. Now they’re launching it in the rest of the world as well.
“Like many of our other lines, like The Judge and La Opulencia, it’s an old Cuban brand,” vice president Janny Garcia says. “We try to re-create these brands and Alcides Montenegro (general manager at My Father) has done a great job with the design. He’s used elements from the old design to make a new one.”
My Father La Gran Oferta is an all Nicaraguan cigar with a Habano wrapper and it comes in five vitolas, Robusto, Lancero, Toro, Gran Toro and Torpedo. In Europe they will go for EUR 3,00 to 3,50 per cigar.
