The Year of the Rabbit, or the Chinese New Year of 2023, has arrived. The rabbit represents safety, love, beauty, and good fortune in Chinese mythology. Cohiba and Montecristo, two of Cuban Mini Cigar’s most recognizable brands, are participating in this occasion by presenting two unique cedar wood humidors each holding 88 and 66 Short cigars. The humidors preserve the cigarillos in top condition and are notable for their elegant design and lacquered finish, which combines the style and exclusivity of the Cohiba and Montecristo brands with the eye-catching theme designed for the Year of the Rabbit. Those will be available at Swiss Casa del Habano starting on the 21st of February and on the 28th of February at Habanos Specialist stores.
VegaFina is also proposing a limited edition for the Year of the Rabbit 2023. The Torpedo with generous format (50 x 152mm) is made out of a distinctive blend of tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Ecuador. The Year of the Rabbit VegaFina cigar is presented in a striking red and gold lacquered box that displays 16 cigars organized in two blocks of 8 each, the lucky number in Chinese culture. Each cigar in this year’s offering has a band at the foot of the cigar in addition to the brand’s customary cigar band, which matches the gorgeous box design. The production worldwide is limited to 8’000 numbered boxes. This limited release will be available at Swiss Habanos Specialist on the 28th of February.
