Romeo y Julieta Celebrates 150 Years

Romeo y Julieta marks its 150th anniversary this year. Founded in 1875, the brand has captivated cigar enthusiasts worldwide, earning its place as one of the most iconic and beloved cigars. In the United States, the iconic brand is owned and distributed by Altadis U.S.A., continuing a dedication to craftsmanship, passion and innovation that has shaped the cigar industry for more than a century and a half.

“Celebrating 150 years is a moment of immense pride for all of us,” said Davide Moro, CEO of Altadis U.S.A. “This milestone honors the generations of individuals who have contributed to this journey—from farmers and rollers to retailers and our loyal consumers. It also marks the beginning of an exciting year-long celebration for this iconic brand.”
