Quesada Cigars Announces Leadership Transition

After five decades of producing exceptional cigars, Quesada Cigars is proud to announce significant changes as the company positions itself for a bright and enduring future.

As Quesada Cigars celebrates its 50th anniversary, it also marks a pivotal moment in its history with the transition of ownership and leadership to the next generation of the Quesada family.

The company’s ownership has been formally consolidated within the immediate family of long-time leader and patriarch, Manuel “Manolo” Quesada, ensuring the legacy continues in trusted hands. Raquel and Patricia Quesada Vega, Manuel´s daughters, now hold full ownership of the company, reaffirming its standing as a multi-generational, family-owned business.

“It has been one of my life’s greatest joys to raise two strong, talented, and passionate daughters, and to see them grow into the exceptional leaders they’ve become,” said Manuel Quesada. “Passing the leadership of our family business to Raquel and Patricia is the proudest moment of my 60-year career. I look forward to supporting them as they lead Quesada Cigars into the future, continuing our legacy for many years to come.”

“It was never my intention to leave the company because tobacco has always been my true passion, so it was a difficult time for me. However I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and I am grateful for all that brought us to this new chapter. So happy to be back!.” said Patricia Quesada.

Raquel Quesada added: “It is a tremendous honor for both of us to be able to work together to uphold our family’s heritage and to write the next chapter in our story. We are excited to carry forward the tradition, passion, and dedication that defines Quesada Cigars.”

For the Quesada family, this transition represents not only the continuation of their legacy but also a renewed commitment to the craft and community that have supported them for 50 years.
