“A cigar is a beautiful thing to enjoy.” This is the philosophy of the founder of Principle Cigars Darren Cioffi. Through art he came to tobacco and for him these two things are connected from the beginning.
At the InterTabac, Cioffi presented his new art program. The “Traditional Advertising Sign” project is a medium-size, thin metal tablets “tins” with different advertising motifs by Principle Cigars.
Four novelties were also announced for the cigars.
The Aviator series features two new additions – Angel of Mercy and Brindille.
The Angel of Mercy is made for charity events and will be presented in spring 2020. It will be available in two sizes: Pyramid (8 x 60 | 203 x 23,8) and Parjeo (8 x 58 | 203 x 23). The wrapper tobacco of the Angel of Mercy comes from Ecuador, the binder from the Dominican Republic and for the filler special tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua were used.
The Brindille will be a closed foot cigar with thirteen year old bonao tobacco. It will be the most interesting of the Aviators, according to Cioffi.
There is also Angelique, a long-filler cigar with a sweet-tip. The tobacco for fillers and binders comes from the Dominican Republic, the wrapper from Ecuador. The flagship size will be Mareva (5 1/8 x 42 | 130 x 16,7), but the Angelique will also be available in Robusto and Lonsdale.
For Christmas there will be a very special cigar at Principle Cigars, because the Blend of the Commonwelth comes from ten different countries. Although there are ten different tobaccos in the Commonwelth, their size is 6 x 56 | 152 x 22,2.
And what makes Principle Cigars products special? “Principle Cigars cigars are alive, they have a certain vibration that makes them stand out. It’s like listening to Sinatra,” says Cioffi.
