Cigar manufacturer Plasencia presented a special award to a partner from Austria at Intertabac 2024 in Dortmund: Tobacconist “Friedenthal” at Vienna’s West Railway Station was named “Plasencia International Retailer of the Year”. The award was handed over directly at the trade fair by Nestor Andrés Plasencia (President Plasencia), Jim Young (CEO) and Rodrigo Medina (Regional Director EMEA & Asia), to the proud winners from Vienna.
Each year, only one sales partner worldwide receives this award, which is therefore highly coveted. The reasons given by Plasencia for this decision include their passion, dedication, innovation for Plasencia Cigars as well as the level of advice and the qualifications of the team in the tobacco shop.
Tobacconist Daniel Friedenthal is only the 5th award winner and is therefore in the best company of the renowned cigar specialist retailers Cigar World in Duesseldorf, Dominique of London, Manuel’s in Zurich and Magallanes in Madrid. The winning tobacconist in Vienna obtains Plasencia’s top-quality products from its wholesale partner Tobaccoland – where the cigar team is naturally also delighted to have contributed to this success story with its own efforts.
