Padrón: José O. Padrón 100th Anniversary

2026 marks the year in which company founder and patriarch José Orlando Padrón would have celebrated his 100th birthday. As expected, Padrón has announced a special new release to commemorate this anniversary, which has already generated a great amount of excitement in the run-up to the 2026 PCA Convention & Trade Show.

Although details about the Padrón José O. Padrón 100th Anniversary cigar are still largely under cover, the official release is scheduled to take place toward the end of the year.

On a custom-built podium in the middle of the family-owned company’s time-honored trade show booth, Jorge Padrón, José Orlando’s son, presents an artfully crafted humidor by Elie Bleu. The top of the numbered humidor, 01 of 100, is adorned with inlays showing an Native American. The design is based on a motif found on the doors of Padrón’s first cigar factory in Miami.

No further details about the cigars are known at this time: the family does not yet wish to comment in detail on either the tobaccos used or the price of these treasures. Padrón is also not displaying any sample of these cigars at the trade show in New Orleans.
What Jorge Padrón does hint at, however, is that they are considering including a challenge coin with the humidor. Additionally, anyone who purchases one of these precious humidors will be able to restock it with cigars.
