A new segment called “Conversatorio Puro Sabor” will be added to the Puro Sabor 2016 Cigar Festival in Estelí, Nicaragua. The Conversatorio will be held on January 15th and will be open exclusively to attendees of the 5th Nicaraguan Cigar Festival.
The Conversatorio will be a casual exchange of experiences and ideas lead by industry experts in an informal and fun setting, in which the audience will have the opportunity to interact and learn about a variety of topics.
The Conversatorio will cover the current state of the industry, a topic hosted by the directors of the Nicaraguan Tobacco Chamber. During the session, legacy company leaders and founders such as Jorge Padrón (Padrón Cigars), Jonathan Drew (Drew Estate) and Dr. Alejandro Martínez Cuenca (Joya de Nicaragua) will discuss the past, present and future of the Nicaraguan tobacco industry and its growing relevance in the global cigar scene.
Attendees will also learn about the production, growth and processing of tobacco from leading growers such as Gustavo Cura (Procenicsa), Nestor Andrés Plasencia (Plasencia Tobacco Group) and Pepin García (My Father Cigars). Some of today’s most renowned personalities such as Pete Johnson (Tatuaje Cigars), John Huber (Crowned Heads), Christian Eiroa (CLE Cigars) and Nicholas Melillo (Foundation Cigar Co.) will reveal what makes Nicaraguan cigars special for them.
