Cohiba Talisman has its Day View Presenting New Features

The Cohiba Talisman is the newest ‘vitola’ inside the brand’s Linea Clásica. With a factory name (vitola de fabrica) of Sublime no.1, with a 54 ring gauge by 154mm, the Talisman first came out as a limited edition.

The Habanos Limited Editon Series always brings cigars with all the leaves aged for two years and in ‘vitolas’ that are not in the brands regular portfolio. Not only they bring some exclusivity for the release but it is also a series where new sizes can be tested for the brands.

In some cases, due to the high acceptance of the new release Habanos later incorporates the new size in the regular portfolio of the brands. That was the case of the Partagás Piramides (LE 2000 incorporated at the Regular Portfolio in 2005 as Série P no.2), the Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure Especial (LE 2004 incorporated at the Regular Portfolio in 2008), H. Upmann Magnum 50 (LE 2005 incorporated at the Regular Portfolio in 2008), Partagás Série D no.5 (LE 2008 incorporated at the Regular Portfolio in 2012),  Trinidad Topes (LE 2016 incorporated at the Regular Portfolio in 2019), and now, the Cohiba Talisman (LE 2017 incorporated at the Regular Portfolio in 2026).

 As it happens when the vitola start coming the in the regular production is that instead of the blend used for the Limited Edition with all the leaves aged for two years, it will start coming in the brand’s regular blend, in this case, in the blend of the Cohiba’s Linea Clásica. And just like the Limited Edition that was presented in London in 2017, the new Cohiba Talisman had its day view at the city in front of more the 400 enthusiasts.

 According to Habanos, the event marked the beginning of the celebrations for Cohiba’s 60th anniversary, as the company has many other activities planned to commemorate this milestone.

 The Cohiba Talisman will be sold in boxes of ten cigars in which includes the NFC technology to guarantee the authenticity of the Habanos. Another new feature is the introduction of a foot band with the cigar commercial name (vitola de salida). This feature will the lately extended to all vitolas of the brand’s Linea Clásica.

 A limited production of gift boxes coming with three cigars will be sold exclusively at the United Kingdom market. Only in these sets the cigars will come with a third band celebrating the 60^th Anniversary of Cohiba.
