New World Dorado to debut late summer 2022

Gold has always been the mark of excellence and success. Now A.J. Fernandez brings the gold standard to his flagship line of cigars. The New World Dorado line of cigars is named after the AJ’s farm where the golden tobaccos featured in the blend are grown.

Steven Kron, International Sales Director at AJF Cigars has told Cigar Journal that the new line will be introduced to the international markets at the InterTabac trade show in Dortmund, Germany (September 15–17, 2022). The US-market might see the new creation a few weeks earlier.

The New World Dorado is all Nicaraguan blend with a Sun Grown Habano wrapper. It will be offered in 10-count boxes and four sizes, all of which are box-pressed:

Robusto 5 ½ x 50 | 140 x 19,8

Toro 6 x 54 | 152 x 21,4

Gordito 5 ½ x 60 | 140 x 23,8

Figurado 6 x 56 | 152 x 22,2

While cigars from Tabacalera AJ Fernandez are known for their fair prices, the New World Dorado will most probably be sold as Super-Premium cigars at a corresponding price point.
