Marko Bilić Appointed as Global Brand Ambassador for Nobdesign

Marko Bilić, Founder of the Cigar Smoking World Championship (CSWC) and President of Club Mareva, has been officially appointed as the Global Brand Ambassador for Nobdesign. In this role, Bilić holds the official rights to promote the brand and represent Nobdesign’s image across all online and offline channels worldwide.

Nobdesign creates cigar accessories that bring Japanese design tradition into the modern cigar ritual. The brand is built on a simple belief: the tools a smoker handles every time a cigar is cut and lit should be as carefully considered as the cigar itself. Its collection includes the Katana line, home to the brand’s two signature pieces, the Katana Cigar Scissors and the Katana Ashtray, and the Shuriken, a cigar punch with a rotating mechanism that pierces with a twist rather than a push.

Nobdesign is managed by MJM Laguito Limited, with worldwide distribution rights held by Ventus Global. The brand’s standing in the cigar community continues to grow, including a commemorative ashtray created for the twentieth anniversary of Amigos de Partagás and presented at the club’s gala dinner in Matelica, Italy.

The appointment grew out of Bilić’s long friendship with Michael Guo of Ventus Global, a fellow cigar passionado through whom Bilić first came to know Nobdesign, and in particular the Katana Cigar Scissors.

Every Nobdesign piece draws on Japanese craft heritage. The Katana Scissors take their form and spirit from the katana, Japan’s most revered blade, while the Katana Ashtray is inspired by Nambu Tekki, the cast ironware tradition of Iwate that dates back to the 17th century. These details set Nobdesign creations far apart from ordinary accessories.
