Joya de Nicaragua will introduce their new Joya Silver line at the upcoming IPCPR trade show. Silver is a box pressed cigar in an oscuro upper-priming wrapper from Ecuador, Nicaraguan fillers and a Mexican binder.
“With each Joya, we’ve aimed to cater to modern aficionados by accompanying them through their smoking journey, from beginners to connoisseurs; the line-up represents an evolution of flavor and complexity, each blend being a distinct and peculiar perspective of Nicaraguan tobacco interfused with leaves from other origins. Another feature of our Joya line is that it comes at incredible retail price. With Joya Silver we’re expanding this experience with a medium to full blend,” said Juan Martínez, Joya de Nicaragua Executive President. He continued, “Together with already popular Joya variants, Silver will continue to generate excitement among modern smokers and make their taste exploration much more rewarding.”
“In the year of our 50th anniversary, we want to be recognized as a cigar factory that delivers the expected timeless quality of a Nicaraguan cigar, but that is also willing to evolve and take on new challenges. On top of creating a cigar for the Joya Line with a more complex flavor profile, we wanted to create a strong visual impact. Joya Silver’s packaging is probably the edgiest in our portfolio, making it a smoke that shines.” said Mario Pérez, Joya de Nicaragua’s General Manager.
Joya Silver will be available in four sizes:
Ultra 6 1⁄4 x 46, MSRP $6.30/stick
Toro 6 x 52, MSRP $7.80/stick
Corona 5 1⁄4 x 42, MSRP $6.30/stick
Robusto 5 x 50, MSRP $7.10/stick
The new line will be available to all US retail shops during the upcoming IPCPR 86th Annual Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas in July 2018. As usual, Drew Estate will distribute the brand in the USA.
