A limited amount of boxes that have been kept for a decade exclusively for the Spanish market.
Tabacalera releases exclusively for the Spanish market a limited batch of Montecristo Open Junior (format “trabuco” 4 1/3 x 38 – 110 mm x 38), that have been aged for ten years in their box. The cigars have been subjected to a decade-long aging in the company’s warehouses, which rounds off the flavor and nuances any edges.
The presentation is the same as regular production tobacco, except that a gold sticker has been added to the face of the box, where those ten years of aging stand out. The price of the cigars in stores is 8.50 euros (170 euros for a box of 20), one euro above the regular Montecristo Open Junior.
