Oettinger Davidoff announced the release of a new two-vitola line called Royal Release. The line is available in the U.S. in October with Europe following in late November this year. Davidoff had the new line rolled by eight Master Torcedors, each with more than 15 years of experience in cigar rolling. A press release describes the blend of “Aromatica Dominicana” wrapper, Habano Ecuador binder and various Dominican fillers as complex and balanced. The release stated that the wrapper used for Royal Release will be used on no other Davidoff blend and that the tobacco used was aged for over eight years.
Only two vitolas will be available: A 5 1/2 x 55 Robusto (USD 80.00) and a 8 1/4 x 57 Salomon (USD 100.00). The new release is already available in the U.S.A. in October. International markets will follow in late November of 2016. The company also offers a matching accessory collection with this new line.
