The Cohiba 55 Aniversário Edición Limitada 2021 Premier Box is expected to hit the market as of June 20, 2022. As previously reported by Cigar Journal on May 14, 2022 the Premier Box is a new concept which was announced at the launch event in nine different cities.
The first batch of this Cohiba Limited Edition comes in a series of 10,000 special numbered boxes of 5 cigars and have the suggested retail price of 1,500 euros. For this series, instead of the traditional Limited Edition band, the cigars will be carrying a slightly modified Limited Edition band with the word “premier” what might get a lot of attention from collectors and Habanos cigar enthusiasts.
According to Walid Saleh, CEO of Phoenicia Cyprus Ltd., boxes became available on June 17, 2022 in Cyprus and will also be available in Beirut, Amman, Adidjan, Abuja, Dubai and Kuwait, shortly.
Although customers from all over the world could pre-order the box right after the event at the official website (www.cohiba55.com/premier) boxes will be available only at markets serviced by Phoenicia Trading, one of the largest Habanos S.A. distributors.
The priority will be given to customers who have previously booked the box using the website and for the La Casa del Habano customers in those countries.
The regular 10-unit wooden boxes of the Limited Edition haven’t become available, yet and no date for availability has been set at this moment by other Habanos distributors.
