The doers among us know the feeling: “I can do that better myself!” It was a similar story with the Dutch entrepreneur Henk van de Mees during one of his business trips to New York. As on many previous occasions, he got annoyed about the inadequacies of his luggage in regard to material, manufacturing and design. He decided to create something better, something much better, and founded Henk suitcases. Together with Heiko Poerz he developed the design line Henk Luxury Goods, which is now owned by Poerz. For the demanding business traveler Henk produces pieces of luggage that are absolute masterpieces when it comes to technique, quality and optics.
