The Cigar Trophy Awards are the only distinction in the cigar industry that is decided on by public vote. Once again, thousands of passionados took the opportunity to nominate their favorite cigars in various categories as well as the best cigar accessories and lounges. After an extended nomination phase, the short list was determined and five nominees in each category were put up for the final voting.
The results were finally revealed on September 22, and the winners of the 2017 Cigar Trophy Awards were announced at a big gathering in presence of industry giants. You’ll find the video of the awards ceremony as well as some photos of the winners below.
We want to give our thanks to all cigar smokers who made their voice heard and participated in the nominations and the voting for the 2017 Cigar Trophy Awards!
