Tabacalera presents the new edition of Tauromaquia, exclusive for the Spanish market, which pays tribute to the legendary Sevillian bullfighter Juan Belmonte, also known as “El pasmo de Triana”, one of the greatest bullfighters in history. Tauromaquia y Juan Belmonte gives us another opportunity to explore the historical relationship between habanos and bullfighting. Previously, in 2019, the first edition of Tauromaquia was dedicated to Morante de la Puebla and Montecristo Double Edmundo, while in 2020 the protagonists of the second edition were Joselito el Gallo and Partagás Serie P No.2.
The brand and vitola chosen for this third edition is Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchills (55 ring gauge x 130 mm long). These cigars have gone through a delicate aging process of at least 5 years, thanks to which the wrappers get slightly darker, smoother and silkier, the flavour settles, and the aroma, strength and body reach a perfect balance.
This special edition consists of 1,000 numbered boxes. On the lacquered wooden lid of each box stands out an evocative illustration of the bullfighter. It is available only in Spanish tobacconists at a price of 20 euros/cigar and 200 euros/box of 10 cigars.
