Legendary cigar brand Romeo y Julieta is sharing something special with premium cigar lovers this Spring – the Romeo y Julieta Book of Love.
This limited-edition premium cigar pays homage to the two star-crossed lovers who gave the brand its name and helped it gain an unparalleled reputation among cigar passionados worldwide. It begins shipping to retailers June 5.
The Romeo y Julieta Book of Love features a masterfully aged Ecuadorian filler tobacco, complemented by a Dominican binder and a Dominican wrapper.
“The Romeo y Julieta Book of Love is one of the most flavorful blends we’ve ever made for the Romeo y Julieta brand,” says Pedro Ventura, director of operations. “The most predominant tobacco in the blend is the Dominican Piloto variety from two regions of the Dominican Republic – Navarrete and La Canela – located in the heart of the Cibao Valley. This cigar from Romeo y Julieta, with its great complexity and medium-to-full body, will satisfy even the most educated of palates.”
The Book of Love is presented by cigar maker Altadis U.S.A. in an enchantingly beautiful 10-count box that not only makes for a beautiful gift, but will serve as Romeo y Julieta memorabilia through the ages as well – quite like Shakespeare’s tale of the two young lovers.
