In the shadow of The Stratosphere lies a fantastic oasis of the leaf called Tap N Ash. Owners Melvin and Michelle Runles had a vision for what a spectacular cigar lounge should be, and they have executed it to perfection. Michelle had asked Melvin where his favorite place to smoke a cigar would be, and he answered with, “My living room!” And so, Tap N Ash has adorned this concept. When you walk in the front door, you immediately feel like you are in someone’s home in an affluent neighborhood. The seating is all sofas and very comfortable leather chairs that conduct a symphony of aesthetics. One gets hit with the feeling of being in a model home with a humidor, great drinks, and a super friendly and knowledgeable staff!
There is also an outside patio where patrons can enjoy the great desert air and a view of the north end of The Las Vegas Strip. Located in the arts district, Tap N Ash frequently teams up with other businesses in the area to put together a live music, gastronomical smokey good time.
There is a tribute to all of the cigar smoking clubs in the Vegas area on the wall. Tap N Ash used to be a mobile lounge that would cater to smoking clubs. When these smoking clubs would not have anywhere else to go with the numbers of patrons that they bring, Melvin would accommodate them with the mobile lounge. Now, the mobile lounge has become a brick and mortar with a faithful clientele to fill the seats. Make sure you try one of the legendary Old Fashions at Tap N Ash for a real smokey treat!
