On 8 January, the first Habanos Specialist store in Hanoi, Vietnam was officially opened. Ms. Lianys Torres Rivera, Cuban Ambassador in Vietnam, Do Thang Hai, Deputy Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Dag Holmboe, Pacific Cigar Company CEO, and business and media VIPs attended the opening event and had the opportunity to experience the art of pairing premium whisky and Cuban cigars.

A new era of Cuban cigar culture integration in Vietnam began on 11 November with grand opening of the first official Habanos Specialist store located in the center of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
