SOTL Global Movement Certifies The Library Cigar Lounge

The SOTL Global Movement officially certified The Library Cigar Lounge – Belvedere as a Women-Friendly Cigar Destination during a hosted event in San Antonio. The event was organized by Mayra Alabi, CCST, and marked the lounge’s formal recognition under SOTL’s global standards for inclusion, culture, and community.

The event brought together industry professionals, cigar enthusiasts, partners, and community members. Stephanie Mion supported the evening through the venue’s hospitality and coordination.

A raffle and giveaways were held for attendees, featuring:

• SOTL Global Movement branded apparel
• Cigar accessories
• Books authored by Dr. Anastasia Psomiadi, including her #1 bestselling titles

Special thanks to Daniel Stanford, sponsor of the event, for his contributions and giveaways, and to BlueSmokeATL (Robin Blue), founder of BlueSmoke and creator of handmade cigar accessories, who also serves as Project Lead for the FIFA Watch Parties Initiative. Appreciation is also extended to Taofiki Alabi for his support and presence.

The San Antonio event also served as a preview of SOTL Global Movement’s upcoming FIFA Watch Parties Initiative, scheduled to launch in 2026. The initiative will activate certified Women-Friendly Cigar Destinations worldwide as official host locations during the FIFA World Cup.

San Antonio is among the first destinations to participate, setting an early example of how certified lounges can function as inclusive cultural and social hubs within cigar communities.

Dr. Anastasia Psomiadi Founder & President, SOTL Global Movement
“This certification is not symbolic—it is operational. It shows how culture is built through decisions, standards, and consistency. What we are doing through SOTL is connecting leadership, business, and culture in a way that is visible and measurable. San Antonio demonstrates how this approach works in practice.”

Mayra Alabi, CCST Leadership Team Member, SOTL Global Movement
“This event represents real progress. The Library Cigar Lounge doesn’t just welcome women—it functions with intention, professionalism, and respect. That is what makes it a women-friendly destination, and why this recognition matters.”

Stephanie Mion Co-Owner, The Library Cigar Lounge
“This certification reflects how we operate every day. Our focus is on creating a space where women feel comfortable, valued, and confident—without exception. We are committed to maintaining that standard and contributing to the global network of women-friendly cigar destinations.”
