Tasting notes: This cigar starts off sweet, with roasted, nutty and leathery aromas. It has a complex blend and delivers an interesting bitter-sweet play on the palate. Finely aromatic, spicy, medium-bodied.

Jim Colucci, President and CEO of Sindicato Cigar Group, is one of the great figures in the cigar business. He started his career over 40 years ago at Consolidated Cigar Corp. (which later became Altadis USA). He left the company in 2011 as Vice President of Marketing & Sales. As the name suggests, the Sindicato Cigar Group is a syndicate comprised of tobacconists that have decided to create their very own cigar brands. The Sindicato Corona Gorda was launched in the USA in 2014. It is a Nicaragua-Puro, rolled at the Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. in Estlí, Nicaragua.
