Tasting notes: Following a few peppery sharp draws this cigar becomes gentle and soft. Coffee and chocolate dominate in the creamy smoke, as well as a fine spice, woody aromas and nutmeg. Medium-bodied.
Within the cigar scene, Rocky Patel’s Vintage series 1990 and 1992 are very hot tips. Since having been launched on the market in 2002, they’ve become very popular and have also become humidor classics. While the filler tobaccos are identical, the wrapper defines the differentiation in taste. The Vintage 1992 is rolled in a 10-year-aged Sumatra leaf that is grown in Ecuador. In Germany, the Vintage 1992 series has been available since 2014, and is – above all the Robusto – also a best-seller there.
