Punch Punch AT is #6 of Cigar Journal’s Top 25 of 2015
Punch is one of the oldest cigar brands that still exist today. However, we decided to include the Punch Punch on this list nonetheless, simply because this cigar has reached a new level of quality that we haven’t experienced before.
Tasting notes: An explosion of flavor: leather, earth, nuts and coffee with a fine peppery acerbity and subtle sweetness. A multilayered, harmoniously blended cigar that becomes quite strong as the smoke progresses.
This cigar is not a novelty by any means. On the contrary, Punch is one of the oldest cigar brands that still exist today. However, we decided to include the Punch Punch on this list nonetheless, simply because this cigar has reached a new level of quality that we haven’t experienced before. The brand was established by a German named Stockman in 1840 and the cigar is produced in the La Corona factory in Havana. Punch Punch is sold in aluminum tubes as of 2009 and is available in selected markets around the world.
