Oliva Unveils Limited Edition "Year of the Goat" at InterTabac 2026

It is the newest release in the brand’s ongoing Lunar New Year series. The edition marks the Year of the Goat, which begins on 6 February 2027, and production is capped at 2,000 boxes world-wide, or 20,000 cigars.

The cigar is offered in a single Double Toro format, 6 x 60, handmade at the Oliva factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.

It is presented in a red lacquered collector’s box of ten, finished with a goat illustration drawn for this edition.

The blend pairs a Cameroon wrapper with a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers,  delivering a medium to full profile.

“The Goat doesn’t chase attention, it earns it quietly, and that’s exactly the cigar we set out to build,” says Fred Vandermarliere, CEO of Vandermarliere Cigar Family.

The Year of the Goat continues a Lunar New Year series Oliva has built over successive zodiac years, with further editions planned. Distribution will focus on Asia, Europe and the Middle East, with availability ahead of Lunar New Year 2027.

The recommended retail price is US $35 per cigar, or $350 per box of ten. Retail pricing varies by market depending on local duties and taxes.
