Oliva Introduces New Nub Line and More

Oliva came to InterTabac with a few new cards up their sleeve, beginning with an addition to their humidor collection.

“This is our third humidor we’ve made in collaboration with Elie Bleu,” designer Fries Arnaert says. “The first one was of our factory Tabolisa in Estelí, the second one was of our fermentation and storage facility, Las Mesitas, and the new one is of a curing barn at our farm, Hacienda D’Ernesto.”

It comes with 125 cigars.

“It has 41 Serie V Lancero, 41 Serie V Melanio Maduro Churchill, 41 Serie V Melanio Double Toro, one Oliva Special Edition 5 x 54 Vintage 2014 and one Oliva Special Edition 6 1/8 x 58.”

Another third is the Chinese Zodiac tradition, which started two years ago with The Year of the Snake, followed by The Year of the Horse last year. Now it’s time for Oliva Year of the Goat, which comes in a box of ten Double Toro cigars. They also introduced a new Oliva Serie V Melanio limited edition.

“This time it’s a Perfecto Round, and we’ve made 2,500 boxes of ten for the international boxes.”

Last but not least, but indeed the smallest; the Nub family gets a new member.

“It has a San Andrés wrapper, and it’s called Nub Mexico.”
