The Nicaraguan Chamber of Tobacco announced that a new edition of the “Puro Sabor” International Festival will take place from January 23 to 27, 2023.
The Nicaraguan Chamber of Tobacco (CNT), announced the date for the return of the International Tobacco Festival “Puro Sabor” starting in the colonial city of Granada on January 23, then moving to Estelí to begin the total immersion in the Nicaraguan tobacco experience, visiting farms and factories of the most internationally renowned brands.
With a unanimous decision of its 26 members, the Chamber agreed to resume this prestigious Festival in person, with guided visits and tours to Nicaraguan farms and factories recognized worldwide for their quality in the production of tobacco.
“After being absent for three years, we are very excited to announce that we are once again opening the doors of our industry to receive our guests,” said Manuel Rubio Centeno, president of the Nicaraguan Chamber of Tobacco.
Rubio Centeno emphasized that the festival is coming back strong, being “a great opportunity for Nicaraguan cigar lovers to meet again with the best tobacco manufacturers in the world”, in addition to the great tourist and gastronomic attractions offered by the country.
On June 16, the Ministry of Health eliminated the migratory requirement of presenting a negative PCR test for COVID-19, to enter the country. Only the complete vaccination schedule against this disease is required. With this resolution, Nicaragua joins the rest of Central and North American countries in eliminating this requirement.
