Boveda, manufacturer of the famed 2-Way Humidity Control System, today announced the release of a new product: The addition of a 320 gram unit will be the largest Boveda in the lineup thus far, and will be available for shipment in September.
Boveda believes this format will become the new standard in the tobacco market, a press release states. The 320 gram pouch is designed for humidors ranging from 25 to 150 cigars. Multiple 320 gram packs can be mounted in even larger humidors and humidor cabinets. Magnetic mounting plates were designed to hold the Boveda 320g in place in the humidor.
Up until now, the largest and most popular size (60 grams) has been Bovedas bread and butter for wood humidor maintenance. Typically, 3-4 packs are used to properly regulate a desktop humidor. This process is being condensed into a larger single unit with Boveda’s new 330 gram pouch. The manufacturer states that the pouch lasts up to six times longer than any previous Boveda pack.
Sean Knutsen, Boveda’s CEO says about the new product, “We feel that the addition of the 320 gram unit will round out the already formidable Boveda product offering, giving cigar smokers another option for less maintenance and peace of mind knowing their humidor is being properly controlled.”
The Boveda 320 Gram Pouches are available in the RH levels 62%, 65%, 69%, 72%, 75% and 84%. The dimensions are 6.75″ x 5″ x 0.75″. An update regarding the retail price will follow.
