La Flor Dominicana Brings Carbon Flower to Europe

La Flor Dominicana used InterTabac to put the Carbon Flower in front of European buyers for the first time, with distribution on this side of the Atlantic beginning next month. Tony Gomez presented the release at the stand, where it also carries the billboards.

The cigar is the Dominican company's collaboration with ProjectCarbon, a carbon fibre accessory maker, and was first shown at PCA in New Orleans in April.

It is a single size — a 6 × 54 toro — with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés binder and Dominican filler grown on La Flor Dominicana's own La Canela farm. The company describes it as full-bodied.

There is no box. Five cigars are packed in a reusable carbon fibre case built for the release by ProjectCarbon. European distribution begins in October.
