Tasting notes: This medium-bodied cigar is excellently rolled and captivates with its creamy, velvety smoke texture. It develops wood, leather and nut aromas, spices and gentle fresh notes of fruit and a light peppery sharpness.
Just before 2015 rolled in, a new cigar brand by Boutique Blends Cigars arrived in Europe, which is why we included it in our tasting at the beginning of this year. The name of the cigar is reminiscent of Rafael Nodals love for classical music and operas. His favorite composer is Giacomo Puccini whose most famous work is La Bohéme from the year 1895. Our tasting panel was blown away by this cigar. The blend started out mild and mellow and the cigar became bolder with time. It truly is a masterpiece from the Tabacalera Palma by José “Jochi” Blanco in Tamboril. The cigar was nominated for the 2015 “Best Cigar Dominican Republic” Cigar Trophy.
