Habanos training well-received by Habanos Point staff in Japan

Cigar education informed and entertained Japanese hospitality staff recently when Intercontinental Trading Corp, an exclusive sub-distributor of Pacific Cigar Company, hosted an informative training event for ‘Habanos Point’ bar and lounge staff.

Mr Yutaka Kobayashi, of Intercontinental Trading Corp, hosted the event at Tokyo’s Tableau Lounge, discussing cigar history, culture, and cigar customer service.

“All guests were enthralled by Kobayashi’s seminar,” said Ms Maki Nakane, General Manager of Cigar Club Japan. “Partagas Serie D No.4s and Montecristo No.2s were served, as an example of the more popular Cuban cigars around the world. Yutaka Kobayashi’s insight into Cuba and Cuban cigars, while guests enjoyed Mojitos and cigars was the perfect training seminar.”

The event also marked the launch of Montecristo OPEN Minis & Clubs.
