With the »Flor de Selva Año de la Serpiente«, Maya Selva Cigars presents an exclusive limited edition created in honor of the Chinese New Year 2025. Since 2018, Maya Selva has been paying tribute to the artisanal craft of cigar making with these limited releases, blending traditional Chinese patterns with the mysterious hieroglyphs of the Maya. In both cultures, animal symbolism plays a central role – the ancient Maya believed that each person is accompanied by a »Nahual«, a spiritual animal throughout their life. 2025 is the year of the snake – a being with a fascinating aura, symbolizing intuition, wisdom, and business acumen.

This noble composition combines the finest tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua, enhanced by a carefully selected wrapper from the Jamastrán Valley in Honduras. Especially noteworthy is the double binder structure: one binder comes from Honduras, the other from Nicaragua – a combination that adds additional depth and complexity to the cigar.
