Elie Bleu Introduces Various New Humidors

Elie Bleu came to InterTabac with what almost seemed like a whole new portfolio of humidors and accessories, from existing series to entirely new collections.

“Like always, we the Chinese Zodiac,” marketing and communication officer Emma Capelli says. “2027 is The Year of the Fire Goat, so we have made 88 pieces each of two different sizes; one carrying 110 cigars and the other one 250. We also have a matching accessories, like leather cases, cutters, lighters and a porcelain ashtray.”

Next in line is the latest addition to their Casa Cubana collection, featuring iconic Cuban architecture. Last year’s Palacio de Cienfuegos sold out, and this year, they’ve depicted El Palacio de la Revolución in Havana.

“It used to be the presidential palace and now it’s the Museo de la Revolución. Again we made matching accessories, as well as an obsidian asthray with the angel de la revolución, which you also can see on each side of the door on the front of the humidor. It took eight weeks to manufacture the 199 pieces in this limited edition.”

Because their bestseller collection celebrates ten years, they also introduced a separate Casa Cubana small leather goods collection.

“We made leather travel tags, passport holders, cigar cases, cardholders, key chains and wallets, in brown and blue. The idea is to continue the line into your pocket.”       

Moving on to The Snowy Owl.

“We introduced this at the PCA this year,” Capelli says. “The interesting thing with this one is the pattern of the wood on the front, which gives you the feeling of a forest.”

Last but not least, a humidor for the United States’ 250^th anniversary.

“It’s limited to 50 pieces, again with matching cutters and lighter. We also did one in cooperation with Arturo Fuente.”
