Davidoff Celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Signature 2000

Davidoff Cigars is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Signature 2000—the most successful Davidoff cigar of all time. In honor of this occasion, the packaging will feature a special anniversary sticker in 2026.

“It is a great honor and I am extremely grateful to be able to celebrate 50 years of this timeless classic,” says Javier González, SVP Head of Global Marketing & Innovation at Oettinger Davidoff. “The launch of the 2000 in 1976 was an important milestone in the history of our brand and paved the way for our entire White Band Collection. Then as now, the cigar meets the taste preferences of modern Passionados worldwide.”

Since its introduction, the 2000 has been Davidoff’s most popular cigar – in fact, it is smoked somewhere in the world every 30 seconds. Since 2018, it has been part of the Signature line, along with seven other formats. Together with Grand Cru, Aniversario, and Millennium, Signature forms the White Band Collection. The Davidoff Signature 2000 combines Dominican filler and binder tobaccos with an Ecuadorian wrapper.

Dimensions Corona: 43 RG x 5 1⁄16″ / Ø 1.7 cm x 12.9 cm

To celebrate this milestone, the Signature 2000 will feature a special anniversary sticker during its anniversary year in 2026. Five different packaging options with this detail will be available starting in March.
