Incredibly rare cabinets of old cigars will be fought over in London on November 30 at what is believed to be the largest cigar auction in history. Although there are cigars of incredible collectability – including a stunning ‘coffin’ of 250 Romeo y Julieta Invencibles estimated to fetch £27,500 – there are also a large number of more modern production cigars priced to sell.
Other highlights include the always popular Davidoff and Dunhill classics and a Habanos 1994 humidor containing 50 5 3/8ins x 46 Ring Gauge cigars valued at £14-18,000.
‘It’s a massive sale of Havanas and some of these Lots are the best I’ve ever come across,’ said Mitchell Orchant, Director of C.Gars Ltd, which runs bi-annual ‘live’ cigar auctions in London and more frequently online. ‘We are expecting guests from around the world to fly in to personally join the bidding.’
The auction takes place at the Bulgari Hotel, Knightsbridge at 2pm on November 30, 2015. Bidders unable to attend will be able to bid online after registering at www.onlinecigarauctions.com. Contact 0207 372 1865 (+44 1207 372 1865) or email [email protected]
