Camacho announced the release of the original Camacho Diploma in the 11/18 Figurado format.
The Camacho Diploma blend has been brought back after a first release last year. Featuring all Honduran Corojo leaves, it has been rolled by the five most experienced pairs of rollers at the Camacho factory. Once rolled, these special release cigars are left to rest a full year before making it to the shelves.
“We are thrilled to once again offer the special Diploma blend in Camacho’s signature 11/18 format to aficionados across the globe. The 11/18 format delivers the strength and characteristics of our “best of the best” Original Corojo, but adds an interesting depth of complexity. Constructed with 100% hand-selected and high-priming Original Corojo tobacco from Honduras. The blend is the top of the pyramid for Camacho in terms of taste and strength.” states Scott Kolesaire, Director of Marketing at Davidoff of Geneva USA.
The company announced that due to the quality of tobaccos needed for blending, the Camacho Diploma Special Selection will only be offered once a year, in very limited quantities – only 1,500 boxes are available for the 2018 release.
The new Camacho Diploma Special Selection 11/18 will launch in the US on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. The limited production of 1,500 boxes will only be made available during the months September and October. Diploma will also be launched in Switzerland in September while Germany will launch later this year. This release is produced at the new Camacho facility located on the outskirts of Danli, Honduras.
