Barclay Rex Pipe Shop | CIGARFRIENDLY: New York City

In New York’s vibrant Manhattan, in the heart of the Financial District, cigar lovers will find a place to relax. Barclay Rex is not only New York’s oldest cigar store, but also has a public cigar lounge and its own private club.

The lounge is located in the basement of the building, has comfortable leather armchairs and seats for about fifteen people, and there are two flat screens in the room. There is a nice selection of great cigars in the shop from the Walk-in Humidor and you are looked after by very friendly and competent staff.

There is no bar in the public lounge in the basement, but you can easily bring your own drink with your cigar.

The private club lounge on the first floor offers more space, but access is restricted to members only. However, there are also day memberships available.

In the cellar of Barclay Rex, one can in any case relax by smoking and enjoying the cigar and escape the hustle and bustle of Manhattan.
