Adam and Daniel Kohlhase found M. K. & Söhne

After Adam and Daniel Kohlhase left the company Kohlhase & Kopp as shareholders on the 31st of December 2022, the industry waited anxiously to see what the two brothers would do next. Now it’s out: Adam and Daniel Kohlhase will remain loyal to the tobacco industry and will operate independently under the name M. K. & Söhne (Söhne = Sons) as of now.

The initials M. K. go back to their father Michael Kohlhase who played a leading role in shaping the tobacco industry throughout his life and passed on his passion for tobacco to his sons.

Over nearly 30 years, Adam and Daniel Kohlhase have built an extensive network within the industry from which the new company benefits.

Renowned brands such as Ashton, Arturo Fuente, Rocky Patel, Padrón, Flor de Copán, Flor de Selva and many more also achieved significant status in the German market thanks to Adam and Daniel Kohlhase’s expertise.

With their experience and deep understanding of customers’ needs, Adam and Daniel Kohlhase are ready to venture to new horizons and offer innovative solutions: »We strongly believe that successful, long-term partnerships are based on trust, mutual respect and shared goals. The brothers will be attending the PCA Convention & International Trade Show in Las Vegas from the 8th to the 11th of July 2023, are open to discussions and look forward to connecting with suppliers. They are ready to work together on projects, share innovative ideas and create synergies to move the tobacco industry forward.

They will be supported by Katharina Kohlhase who is responsible for marketing and human resources. Further personnel details are not yet public at this stage. But here, the Kohlhase brothers’ good networks will also provide a few surprises.

The setup will be ready by the end of 2023 so that the company M. K. & Söhne can start delivering at the beginning of 2024.
