Oettinger Davidoff and Illusione cigars decided to cooperate in order to open the pan-European market for their brands. By using many similarities and opportunities for the future, they strive to lift up their business partnerships with retailers and appointed merchants. Starting points for this new distribution alliance will be in Belgium, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Dion Giolito, President of Illusione cigars is convinced to fill a niche in Davidoff’s brand portfolio as well as Jim Young, Chief Commercial Officer Oettinger Davidoff AG describes the new agreement as a „great fit“.
Outside of the agreement Illusione Cigars have placements in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China and the Netherlands. Currently, they are handling these countries in-house. Also in the hopper are UAE, Brazil, Lebanon and Bulgaria.
