If you’re driving down to Naples from the North, take exit 111 which is Immokalee Road and head West until you see the Shoppes of Galeria. In this pristine shopping center, go to the Western most part and you will see Vicente of London. The self-proclaimed “Hidden Gem” by one of the owners, Phillip Beshara, is an absolute treat for the cigar lover. After having a beer and a cigar with Phillip, I would agree with calling the place a jewel indeed.
Phillip and co-owner Brian Yauger moved from a life of Phillip building Taco Bells and Brian running them, to showcasing a gorgeous facility with a tremendous selection of cigars and libations as well as an outdoor patio where patrons can enjoy sitting lakeside in this beautiful South Florida city.
Live music happens at least twice a week here. Naples legend Nick Verdi, aka Baddabing does his resurrection of Frank Sinatra at least once every two weeks. Other soothing coffee-house-style acts revolve through the gem every so often to entertain the local clientele. The beautiful Aurora does a terrific job of belting out the classics. Be sure to check her out if you see her on the schedule, you’ll be happy you did!
Major changes are coming to this already spectacular establishment. Phillip and Brian just recently purchased the lounge in June of 2019. So there will be changes coming down the pike, but they will be changes that take an already wonderful environment and make it even more enticing for cigar lovers.
Great eats exist on either side of Vicente of London. Right next door is Lemongrass, a Vietnamese restaurant that serves the best Vietnamese food in all of Naples. You can order on your phone and then just walk about 15 steps and pick it up and bring it back to dine in the lounge. On the otherside is Bokamper’s Bar and Grill where one can find good American bistro fare such as wings, burgers and whatnot.
So come to this gem and stay for lunch while you enjoy your favorite cigar which I am sure is here. With best sellers like Davidoff, Perdomo, My Father and Rocky Patel, there is a cigar here with your palate writen all over it.
