Omar Raad and Michel Moufarrej will be the duo representing the the United Arab Emirates at the Habanos World Challenge to be held at the XXI Festival del Habano in Cuba.
The first Habanos World Challenge tournament in the UAE was held in the last year in Dubai. Following the great media coverage of past year’s HWC, the 2019 challenge is expected to draw even more participants and spectators at the Final in Havana, Cuba.
The Habanos World Challenge is a team competition where contestants’ skills and knowledge in cigar history, pairing, production, brands and vitolario of the Habanos portfolio are challenged. Unlike with the well established Habanos Sommelier Contest, the HWC mainly focuses on amateur participants.
The local competition took place at the Hotel Address at Dubai Mall and was organized by the Habanos distributor in the UAE, Baqer Mohebi.
