The Duke Cigars Hosts Ladies Event

The Duke Cigars in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, hosted a lady’s event celebrating International Women’s Day on 20 March 2021 at The Royal Lounge.

“It was a fun afternoon with all ladies enjoying Quay d’Orsay Cuban cigars with canapes and drinks,” said co-owner Nurul, who together with husband Afzan, established The Duke Cigars. “The theme this year was ‘Choose To Challenge’ therefore, everyone shared their professional career experiences, the obstacles they faced, and how they overcame them.”

The day was also a great networking event for all, with guests from very diverse backgrounds joining the event. Ladies in attendance work in the beauty industry, baking, medical, design, production, financial, and construction industries.

“This gathering was one of the largest of ‘Sisters of The Leaf’ in Malaysia. The Duke Cigars celebrates all women, and their continued empowerment and independence, and elevating their presence in the world of cigars,” said Nurul. “This was a brilliant first event of its kind for The Duke Cigars and our team promises there will be more sessions in the near future.”
