Smoke At The Creek Cigar Festival Returns in 2022 | August (IN)

The boutique cigar festival Smoke At The Creek is returning in 2022 after the success of the inaugural event in 2021.

Hosted by the Boutique Cigar Association of America (BCAA), the event from 12-13 August at Cedar Creek Winery, Distillery, and Brewery in Martinsville Indiana, USA, will bring together over 30 boutique cigar manufacturers for an outdoor event complete with VIP welcome night, live music, wine, bourbon, and rum tastings, and of course plenty of cigars.

“Last years’ festival consisted of 20 vendors, and nearly 750 attendees,” said Dr Gaby Kafie, founder of the BCAA. “This year we’re expanding to 40 vendors and are anticipating we will exceed last years’ attendance with Covid regulations reduced further.  Our 2nd Annual Festival will be truly special as the BCAA has partnered with Cedar Creek Distillery to release an exclusive event only Small Batch Bourbon.  Those in attendance will be able to acquire a bottle.  Last but not least, everyone should know that vendor booths have already sold out. We are so excited for what we are building as a community.”

The BCAA has appointed a Board of Directors comprised of 7 individuals, as well as a Festival Committee consisting of nearly 12 people.  Armen Caprielian of DAV Cigars, who has led the BCAA as President since December 2020, works with the Board and Committee who together donate their resources, time, and energy to shed light on small, family-owned, premium cigar companies and brands. His leadership skills, public speaking capabilities, and vast experience working with large boards and committees have allowed him to guide us into the unknown waters of planning a national cigar festival for boutique cigar brands, noted Kafie.

“We are extremely excited for the 2nd annual Boutique Cigar Festival,” said Armen. “After the first one being such a success there’s a certain buzz in the air like never before.  At the core of it are the tireless efforts of the festival committee who selflessly volunteer their time, efforts, and resources to make it the success that it is.  We never lose sight of the BCAA’s mission of supporting family-owned boutique cigar companies.  The festival symbolizes that and in the midst of it all we get to enjoy a fabulous time with fellow brothers and sisters of the leaf.  It’s a type of camaraderie like no other.  If you’re not at Smoke at the Creek you’re missing out!”

Smoke at the Creek 2022 will feature the following companies and organizations:

Ancestry Cigars, Cigar Medics, Clout Cigar Co, Apostate Cigars, DAV Cigars, Alan Rouloeau Cigars, GTO Cigars, Hiram and Solomon Cigars, Islamorada Cigar Co, Kafie 1901 Cigars, Cigar Life Guy, OM Cigar Company, Crown Cigars, Brothers’ Smoking Stogies, Blanco Cigars, Vicarias Cigars, Konscious Cigars, Gillespie Cigars, Empire Cigar, Karen Berger Cigars, Family X Loyalty Cigars, Norwood Cigar Co., Cedar Creek Cigars, Howard G Cigars, The Chief Cigars, ATL Cigar Co, Garo Cigars, Boveda, Cigar Rights of America, and Cigars for Warriors.

Cigar Journal is an event media partner and each VIP ticketholder will receive a copy of the print magazine and a one-year subscription to the digital version of the magazine.
