Rocky Patel Adds Gordo Size to Royale Line

Rocky Patel Premium Cigars has expanded the Rocky Patel Royale brand to a seventh frontmark, a 6 by 60 vitola called Sixty. The company commented that the new size was added due to consumer demand for a standard gordo size.

The new size is available in 20-count boxes with a retail price of USD 12.00 per cigar. Shipping to tobacconists in the USA in scheduled for mid March.

Initially introduced in 2013, the Rocky Patel Royal has been one of the company’s most successful lines rolled at TaviCusa, Rocky’s factory located in Esteli, Nicaragua. Named #3 of Cigar Journal’s Top 25 of 2014, the line also received exceptional ratings of 91 and 93 points (Toro and Corona) in 2014.
